Radio Question
ok I know what alot of you are going to say but I will ask it anyway...............What music format does the factory stereo and cd player support????? I ask because I like the look of the factory system and cant afford to buy a new stereo right now.
I believe it supports MP3/WMA/AAC
ok I couldnt get it to play mp3 but I may have had it formatted wrong
Hmm you may. Try one of the other formats if possible? I am not sure, but I know you can download different software that will allow you to convert it to different formats. I'm pretty sure WMA should work for sure.
well I tryed wma and it works in the cd player in the house but still doesnt work in the truck..........any other Ideas???????anyone?????????
You are not using a CD-RW are you?
nope just a cd-r
This is a 1997 right? It has the split din.
I ran into similar problems with my 96 Silverado. Turns out the CD player was bad, so I replaced it with one from my cousin's 98 Suburban. Does it play original copies without problem? |
Hey Chris - for the record, on my '98 with the accessory CD player, burned CDs play just fine.
Are you putting labels on your CD's?
My Silverado absolutely WILL NOT play a CD with a paper inkjet label on it. |
