Default Radio Recption

I recently purchased a used 2000 Chevy Silverado. My AM/FM radio recption is very poor. The signal is so week that when using the seek button, no stations are found. I have a good radio out of my son's 2000 Pontiac that I triedwhich alsogot poor recption.I do not see an antenna loop in the windshield. Whereis the radio antenna located on my pickup? What could be causing my poor recption?

Thanks in advance

The antenna may have a bad ground or may have came unplugged from the radio.

You don't have an antenna on the truck at all? There should be a regular old antenna in the front on the passenger side. If theres not, you're gonna have to buy one and screw it in. Problem solved.

I’m an idiot. Your right,a friend of mine pointed out to me today the antenna mast mounting stud on my right front fender. I picked up a used mast today and problem solved.
Thanks All!
