Default Ram Air

I am looking at making my own Ram Air intake since I dont think the volant one is very good. Attached are the pics of where I plan he intake to be and the hole on the bottom of the volant box. Any ideas?

Try this, http://www.carolinaclassictrucks.com...-GH-GBXV8.htmlalthough after looking at the pic I honestly don't see much advantage to using this over a regular CAI

I had a functional ram air hood from suncoast performance and it was almost the same set up as this. I took it to the local speed shop to see how much flow it was getting and boy was i disappionted. The snorkels were on the front of the hood and not on the back by the windshield. we tested it and decided that the best functional setup would be with a cowl that faces the windshiled as the most air flow is acctually up there. another great place is under the front.

You could just remove your headlight and save $1000...

I want something I can use everyday. Taking the headlight in and out just isn't gonna work.

VeraRam makes a kit that pulls fresh air in from your grille. Under $400.
