rear differential and axle

I have a 00' 2500, I just had the rear spider gears replaced due to wear, then the drivers side axle bearings, I then took it back to the drive train specialist, due to more noise out of the rear end. I was advised that there maybe a flat spot on the axle, is causing thenoise. I was also told that I should be able todrive it without any problems, but I will have to livewitht he noise or a new axle. Any ideas from anyone? The truck only has 60k miles on it, with a gas 6.0, it has been used to pull a 5th wheel horse trailer and travel trailer. Thanks

If the bearing was bad could it potentially wear a spot in the axle......or no?

I did my rear myself I changed the spider gears, carrier bearings, and the axel bearings + seals to get a full rebuild. Meh imo it sounds like he didnt set your Pinion gear backlash right which I bet Argon wouldnt think I would be too off on that one cause a flat spot in the axel with only worn spider gears is strange (though only imo). o.O

the axles goes round n round..it ain't gonna get flat...it will wear down a pitted groove if the bearing is bad
