How hard is to change the ignitionswitch in a 2000silverado. I don't think the dealer means the key switch.
Is there a ignition module?

 

What year?In mine, its pretty damn easy. basicly just drop down the steering and its right there. If its the key, thats simple too. you have to buy a couple of cheep tools but will be done in about an hour or so. I have done both already to mine, so if you need help, i cant tell you exactly what to do.
