Get a Predator, buy it second hand. You will have to talk them down on price if you find a used one. Most people think you can just reinstall the factory tune and sell it outright, but it "marries" itself to the vin and the only way to reset it is to send it back and have it reflashed. That prce is $100.

I found someone with a used Predator for $200. I talked them down to $100 when I found out about this reprogram thing (by forwarding them info from DiabloSports website), so I still got it for $200 technically. That is still $70 to $100 less than new. You can find new ones for $270 on ebay too.
