So the 4 way switch finnaly died in my suburban (im too cheap to spend the 232.99) so the question is should I rewire just the switch with a toggle or should I bypass the combo flasher and put in a seperate flasher also??????

 

Can you find one in a salvage yard? I have only heard of a 4 way flasher switch going out a handful of times in my life.

 

maybe but salvage yards around here are high everything else works flawlessly

 

I took a look around a few salvage yards today down here in Houston, Texas. I did not find any 4way flashers intact around here. Most were destroyed when people took to disassembling the columns. I posted a few days ago I would look around for you, but apparently it did not take. The forum semed to change since i posted that. Anyhow I looked around with no luck. Sorry.
