Rough country 6" exlift?
Hey what have you guys heard or seen from these lifts. They replace the cv joint and keep the stock torsion bar placement. Look at the link and let me know.
Also it calls for 35x12.5 tires. Does a 12.5 inch wide tire need a 8"rim or a 10"rim.
Also what gears would work best with 35" tires. And would bigger tires and regearing make the truck get back to the same gas mileage as smaller tires with smaller gears.
Thanks

In general rough country makes a good product. I would go with the 10" wide wheels, as they will look funny with 8". I do not know about the backspacing though. Also going with 15" rins will save you money on the tires. As far as gearing, if you go with 4.56 gears, your milage should be near stock.
I think you can use 16" wheel... 15" might be pushing it. As far as the width of the rim, it varies from tire to tire. Some say you can put them on a 8" wheel, some say a 10". It's a matter of personaal preference.
When i bought my 2005 from my 2000 i was going to trade out wheels and tire since i had just put new bfg goodrich on the 2000 but on the front the 16inch wheel would not fit the 05. Back was fine but front hit the brakes.
