rust proofing???
hey guys just got my silverado a few weeks ago itsan 06 with 47k on it. I think its in great shape but like ive read here we live on the east coast and its rusty and nastey. I didnt have this problem on my trailblazer anyways im going to try this product i found. I also put med softness wire brush on my drill and grinder to prep the metal and I got cheap undercoating first, it the spots i dont see as much. and the spots I can see clearly I will put the more expensive stuff. I will see how it works so far phase one looks good

Smoke14Before you do that you need to control the rust.Go to Home Depot that and get (Loctite Extend) aerosol can under $6.00This product really works on stopping rustl, and it's a great primer.I got mine in the quart bottle and just use a paint brush on the frame of my travel trailer and jet ski trailer. As I said it is a great primer and you can just spray paint or the other products for undercoating that you are looking at and they will stick.To use this product you do not have to spend hours with a wire bruch or wheel removing the rust first. Just coat over the rust and the Loctite with do the rest.jvp
