sensors

where would the heat sensor be on a v6 gmc 1997safari. the van will not start after it gets warm up. was told the the heat sensor could be the pro
blem. any help will be appreciated. James

You are probably referring to the coolant temp sensor. It is usually right next to the thermostat housing.
