Default Service Stabilitrak Issue

So I recently replaced the pitman and idler arm on my 2014 Sierra Denali HD and in order to do so I had to remove the steering gear box, disconnecting it from the steering shaft. I made sure not to spin the wheel or the shaft during removal and installation. I then started the truck and got a "Service Stabilitrak" warning and light on the control panel. I read the codes and it indicated P0710 Symptom 4B: Steering Position Signal Calibration Not Learned. The truck needed tires anyways so I replaced them and had an alignment done hoping to reset the angle sensor afterwards and solve the issue. Still the light and warning remain. I then replaced the sensor while using a J42640 steering column anti-rotation pin tool to secure the column position. This was after reading that it is possible that it could have been damaged internally/electrically when the front end work was done. Still the code remains. Please help as I have run out of ideas. Thanks!
