Long story short I was trying to remove the furthest back spark plug on the drivers side of a 5.3L Silverado when it snapped in half right below the hex area where you connect the socket. Now I still have half the spark plug in the engine with some of the porcelain still inside keeping me from putting an easy out in.

Any help on this issue aside from setting the truck on fire and cooking hot dogs would be greatly appreciated.

 

Well.............the BEST way( not what you wanted to hear) is to remove the head and deal with it that way....that is the only way to keep contaminats out of the engine..........right below the hex area???? wow must have been there for a while
