I need to get somenew shocks for my truck, still have the stock ones and its time for some new ones. I dont need anything to extreme for off-roading or anything but i want something nice, any ideas from you guys? I was lookin at the rancho's.

I like the Edelbrock IAS shocks... But I havea 2WD....

rancho 5000s are pretty good for a 4x4. but i got a 2wd so i just use some more everyday ones like monroe.

The rancho 9000s are nice as well, adn I believe they are the adjustable ones, so you can custom set up your ride.

I'm probably going to go with the edlebrocks as well but If i can save a little longer the bilstiens look really nice too.

just don't get rough country shocks... they're cheaper than some but they ride like you're sitting on a trampoline... i know three people with them, and they all suck.

Let me know what you figure out and how they work, I checked my front ones last week only to discover they are both broken, thats right, broken in half. I guess 200,000 miles is the limit.

Blackhorse - how were you able to drive it without noticing they were broken? It seems like it would have bounced all over the place.

It always rode a little bouncy due to having the torsion bars jacked up, i guess it just got gradual over time til i didnt notice a differance, but im just a south dakota redneck. haha
