Short bed resale value
I am looking at a new Silverado standard cab short bed 2 wheel drive with a V6. I used to buy a new Silverado extended cab 4x4 every 2 years but want something easier to park. I never haul anything in the bed or tow so it is mainly a car for me, I have a work truck that is a 4x4 so this would only get driven about 4,000 miles a year. I have found one that I like for what I think is a great deal but was wondering if I decided to sell it in a couple years if it would be hard to sell since it is a short bed without the extended cab.

It won't be a hard sell but it's not going to hold its value as well as a V8 model. Being that you're looking at 2wd, the v8 is still going to get you pretty good fuel economy. Both are a great purchase, if you buy it right, I don't see you taking a hit in a few years if you sell it. Good luck ........

Thanks,
I found one at a local dealer and they will knock $6,000 off the sticker so it would only be $18,000. That would be a 2011 with 6 miles on the clock, power windows & locks, cruise/tilt/air, AM/FM-CD, carpet, heated electric mirrors, V6, locking differential and the LS chrome package [grille, bumpers and wheels]. It seems like a pretty nice truck, I just need to make up my mind now.
Thanks
