Everyone i have asked or talked to about shorty headers off of this website say they are a waste of money on themotor i have. They sayif you do headers do long tube.

Also same on the 160 stat they say the motor is made to run with the stock and it does not help to change it.

Whats your guys thoughts? Thanks

 

Most from what I have seen here says the t-stat will help alot. As far as headers it helps mid and high RPM with shorties, low end with long tube.

 

I don't care what anybody says... The 160 degree thermostat was one of the best mods I have done. period. As far as the headers go, if I had to do it again, I would go with longtubes...
