Silverado door lock actuator

I have a 2008 Silverado Extended Cab. The door lock actuator is going out on passenger side. Dealer wants $127.00 for part. This sounds very high. Is there any where else that would have this part?

Just replaced on in my 2008 Sierra. Thank you for the bumper to bumper warranty to 100K miles.

Actually 127.00 isn't a bad price.

It a bad price if the part doesn't hold up. I have read on the net there is a lot of problems with these,

Yeah its becoming a common problem that GM needs to fix. This is where I get my parts from little bit cheaper, also AC Delco brand... RockAuto Parts Catalog

had mine replaced for free 08 silverado driver door. they told me its an ongoing problem. call GM and complain maybe they'll work with your dealer.worth a call
