Does anyone know if a Chevy Silverado, that came without fog lights from the factory, can they be added to look and function like they came with the truck? I know you can put new end caps on bumper with lights, but is there pig tails ran anyway to plug the fog lights into, if the truck came stock without them? I'm really trying to avoid the whole toggle switch thing. I'd like it to look factory. Thanks for any help and reply's!!

 

I would think that if you have the money you can purchase all of the hardware to do it from GM. Might need a pro to do the install. With all the factory switches and stuff, it will get very expensive. I have driving lights on my Grand Marquis and never used them much, so I didn't worry about it on my truck.

 

I can't answer your question, but I will say that the factory fogs are just about worthless.

I turn them on in wet weather to hopefully see the lines on the road better but that's about it- curently thinking of doing a bulb upgrade.

My chevy cruze came without fogs and did not have the switch or wiring or anything. Installed LED Fog strips and wired them direct to the DRL's... the difference is astounding and much better than my truck

 

I'll second the LED lighting strips, they are great but a little costly.
