Silverado problem 95! help
Hello, I have a problem with my 95 Silverado. It seems to have a clunk when going over bumps OR rough roads. It happens every time, its like a rapid clunk, clunk and then its fine. When going over smooth roads its PERFECT I dont understand. It tends to want to go left A little when driving but nothing bad. Can someone help me with this problem? Could it be a ball joint, tie rod, steering rack, stabilizer link??? help! Its like if its a patch in the road it will clunk on whatever side it is, or seems to anyway. steering is fine also.??
Probably ball joint or control arm bushings. Without inspecting the suspension, it's hard to say exactly what's wrong with it. I'd say take it to a shop and have them inspect it. They'll go through all of your suspension/steering and let you know what's going bad on it.
There's lots of things that could cause that, so really it's hard to guess.
