Default Silverado Torsion Keys

So over the past weekend I installed a set of add-a-leaf lift springs to the rear of my '99 Silverado 4x4. To my surprise they took the rear up a little above 2" ..around 2.5" from about 38" to almost 41" both sides (top of fender wells).

I figured I'd be able to even this out by cranking the torsion bars up a bit (obviously not looking for the full 3" b/c of problems that may occur). After crawling under the truck I found that the T-bars are basically full cranked and the front fender wells are around 37.5 - 38".

I'm running 285/75/r16 tires, they fit without rubbing... barely. I wanted my front end to sit up higher. I've noticed a couple guys I know have similar trucks (without serious lifts or a body lift) and their front ends sit way higher.

I'm wondering should I give some torsion keys a try? Can I use them to add a couple inches to the already cranked torsion bars, or would I run into more issues with front suspension angles or shocks not being long enough?

This isn't really answering your question but I thought it may help you to know that my stock height with 265/75-16 is about 35.5-35.75".
