Default Silverado WT rear end

Looking at new style Silverado Work Truck. It comes with a "trailer package" which includes a lower ratio rear end. I really don't know what that means; but assuming more torque. What I'd like to know is how much that effects MPG when not towing?
Thanks
Dave

Also think about if you are going to get larger tires. If so, then you will save money in the long run if you need lower gears. A 4.10 will be great with 33" tires as opposed to the stock 31.8. Should be either the 3.73 or 4.10 ratio in there.
