Default Sorry if it's been answered but I can't find anything on this. (driver's side door)

I have a 09 1500 ext crew cab Z71. This is not a big problem but I have three questions. SO here is my problem:

Drivers side door does not lock/unlock with the Key fob.

1. Should I reset the key fob with the truck(now the Passenger side works fine)

2. what's the problem/fix

3 I still have a factory warranty is this problem covered?

Thanks guys

haha no idea, but call them in the morning! If they can deal with it for free, why not?

i work at a gm dealer ship and to me that should be covered is it a crew cab or a extended they seam to have issues with there door lock actuators sometimes or your key fob may just need to be reprogramed both are easy fixes nothing major

My thoughts exactly.... Go to the dealership and see if it's still covered....
Use that warranty to the max

will do, I will have to get a hold of the dealer and see what they say, but first i have to get the other vehicle running...damn P0420 code. I've change the O2's...now it's the air filter's turn(dirty looks like it's been there since 2005 when it was made(I am the 3rd owner and thought that it had been change(my fault lesson learned). After that is the Cat itself(not going to the dealer, they want 800 bucks).

Just got my 2008 Sierra back from the dealer for electric lock issue. Both driver's side door locks would work intermittently. Turned out to be an actuator. It was replaced at no charge. Would have been an $800 repair, without the warranty!!!!!
