Well, obvisouly if you have noisy exhaust, it'll only do so much. But with all the vibration going on underneath the bed from all the moving parts, the spray-on liner helps minimize the bed's rattling/vibrations. It certainly isn't the end-all answer, but it can certainly contribute.

Here is what I would do. I would take all of the interior out and while I had it out I would get the do it your self roll on bed liner kit and line the entire inside of the cab, then I would line the interior with Dynamat. That will be the best thing to do. The bed liner material will stop all the rust and help with the sound deadening. Then with the dynamat, you shouldn't hear anything. If you put the dynamat in the doors and sides of the cab you will be just fine. IMO!
