I installed my JBA 9mm plug wires and NGK V-power spark plugs today. I’m very happy with the results. After the truck warmed up, I immediately noticed a smoother idle and increased throttle response. I did not notice any gains in acceleration but acceleration is smoother if you will. I highly recommend both of these products if you are approaching a tune-up.

I currently have 75,000 miles on my truck so upgrading performance plugs and wires made a difference. However, if you have low miles and looking for performance out of plugs and wires, don’t waste your money. Wait until it is time for a tune-up before contemplating and you will be happier. I purchased the JBA plug wires from http://www.performancecenter.com/, and the price is fantastic. JBA claims you get 5hp/5ft-lbs torque from these wires. I purchased the NGK spark plugs from Ebay motors also for an excellent price.

In addition to plugs and wires, I also changed my oil and transmission fluid. This if the first time I’ve changed the transmission fluid since I owned the truck and my God what a difference. I used Mobile 1 synthetic tranny fluid and the difference is night and day. Shifting is so much smoother and it feels like the whole truck is happier to run.

Mark, it was no problem staying the whole day helping you out. Glad we got everything done, well except for rotating your tires. I forgot to ask you when I was at you house - did you look on Eagle's website to see if they have some kind of special socket for your rims?

I may not get a chance to bleed my brakes out again until after I get back from leave. Next break I have alot going on, and I'm not that worried about it. We'll see....
