I have a 2003 Silverado 1500 all of a sudden my speedo started acting up sometimes it will start at 60 mph sometimes 80 mph. it will be right if you add the speed to the speed it started at. sometimes it will just stay at a certain speed. i changed the pickup sensor and problem still ther any suggestions? would the problem be in the computor or the cluster?

This questions was asked a while back, the problem is with your speedometer cluster in the dash. I had TacomaSpeedometer fix this problem for me for about half of what the dealership wants. They have a 1 800-677 3336 number to call. Should run about 185.00 on the repair and a One day turn around. good luck

 

ok first of i am brand new only reason i got signed up is for this post.....i have had my 04 silverado 1500 4x4 for about 6 months now....as soon as winter came around i noticed that my speedo would "stick" until my truck warmed up..then if i drove for a while it would start sticking again...somtimes it works right but most of the time i rely on my rpms...i am wondering if when the weather warms up again will it stop sticking and be normal until next winter?? thanks for the help!!!
