Question sputter and backfire during acceleration

Hey I'm new to the forum and in kind of a pinch! I'm PCSing to Japan with the Air Force in about a week and am trying to get this issue resolved before I can get rid of the truck!
The engine starts and runs fine when I leave for or from work. But as soon as I accelerate out of the parking lot it starts sputtering really bad, it lasts for a bout 10-15 seconds and then runs like a champ. If I press the accelerator while it's sputtering it backfires a few times sputters a little worse and then takes off like nothing was ever the matter.
It's throwing 2 codes. One is the right bank is running lean, and the other is the heater coil on the o2 sensor between the manifold and the catalytic converter. I don't think its the sensor because it's been throwing that code off and on the last while and just recently started acting up.
Any help would be appreciated!

Check your ignition coils. same thing happened to mine and one of my coils was burnt out which wasn't sending any spark to my 2nd cylinder

What engine? Check your timing.

i got the 4.3 v6 in it. I changed the plugs and wires yesterday and the cap/rotor about 2 months ago. everything i do seems to help a little but nothing seems to fix it totally.

Just for the hell of it, check your fuel filter.

I have seen plugged converters do this exact same thing on many truck. this could also be why it is setting the codes for the o2 sensors. The only way to check this is either with a backpressure gauge or just remove the pre-converter o2 sensor/sensors and start it to see if it idles and runs better.
