Stopped running

2001 GMC Sierra 1/2 ton.
Would not start after short trip. Don't know where to start to fix.

Please help.

Completely dead, no clicks, ticks or anything else.

Start with the battery. Make sure your battery connections are good and clean, and use a volt meter to see if it has any voltage.

Hey Shamrock? Do those use a fusible link off the starter wire? That would explain a total loss of power.
