Swap diffs in 85 shortbed and 90 suburban?

Swap diffs in 85 shortbed and 90 suburban?
Have 85 chevy full size 4x4 and 90 chevy suburban 4x4 both 1/2 ton. Want to scrap the burb and out the diffs in the 85 truck. Is this a straight swap? The Chevy garage cant tell me!

Yeah that will work. Only problem you might run into is the length of the driveshaft. Which if it is, a transmission shop can cut or add one for u and have it balanced.
