alright another question,
I have an '03 with 5.3l. I have reason to believe my alternator is going bad! So I was looking on line for some number to see what I can get it for.
The question is this "how do i tell if I have a 12'oclock plug or an 11:30 plug?
my alt's 2 bolts are on the bottom, the plug is 11'oclock(leaning towards the passenger side of the engine.
So what do I have? Also are there any issues with going bigger? I see the options are 105 amps or a 145amp alt. Or power master and tuff stuff make a 200amp alt.
Can I just up grade or is there problems associated with it?

If you wanna go bigger its ok. It wont hurt nothin. I did on mine cuz of the stereo system I have in mine. I dont think it matters where the plug is located but as long as the pigtail connection is the same.
