system
my buddy had a set up where there was a 12 on each side pointed to the floor and the amp was built into the middle at the tranny hump, under the back seat, then one day he gave it away, free, and i have a pickup just like it.....idiot
I have two 10's under my rear seat, they sond good but if you are looking for the loudest sound get the one that is front firing. I have the down firing, I am not dissapointed but I would probably get the front firing if I did it again. Get quality subs if you do get the front firing though.
Probably not with out getting a box built to your needs. I have my amp and cap under my drivers seat. when they get hot I just put some cool air to them with the trucks vents. How serious are you going to get with this setup? and are you still planning on using the ex-cab for people/ cargo??
Well with the front firing you will have to worry about sub guards or grills so they don't get damaged. That's one of the many reasons that I went with the down firing instead. That and I wanted it to be a little more consealed. Here are some good designes to get you started on what you are looking for.
