i was told that if i clean the injectors in my tbi since they never been cleaned before with 155k miles that i should see better throttle responce and better gas mileage is that true and how would i exactly take them out to clean them

 

cleaning the injectors does not involve removing them there are lots of injector cleaners out there.......its kind of a personal preference thing...........I like the lucas injector cleaner and seafoam

 

I've also pulled the air cleaner off and shot them down with throttle body cleaner. never removed them though. me and a friend of mine also pulled the pcv vacume line off the throttle body and sprayed this foam cleaner **** he got from work and that was awesome. smoked like crazy and really pissed off the woman in the snowball stand next door to the shop. also try a fuel filter mine was original when i bouight it at 165,000
