Sorry, just got the opportunity to get on here. The company is called Trans-Dapt. The spacer is made out of aluminum and they make 3 different versions. I got the 1" spacer with the swirls in it. You get an increase in your MPG and throttle response. It also gives you some more power. Totally recommend it. $49 from Summit Racing. It's not in the catalog, you must call them and they will hook you up.
As for the exhaust, have you thought about unbolting it? I have headers and I just unbolted and removed my exhaust. It's pretty loud, but the power is worth it. It has to be a 25 hp improvement. Just try it, worst case scenario, you hook it back up.

That would be so loud it would be rediculous. I wouldn't get halfway down the road before getting pulled. It would free things up though I agree.

If it's free, it's worth trying... Unless you live in California or something. But I think you'd be safe, being an Okie.

Hunt4game, I went with the Jet Performance TBS and I love it. As I've said in ealier posts, I didn't notice much gains in acceleration, but throttle response was a lot better! I posted a picture of it in the package before I installed it.

Either way, it will give you better performance and better fuel economy. I think they are pretty much the same.I just boughtthe cheapest one.

No problem bro. I'm taking before and after pictures of all my performance mods and such. I would like to make a home movie someday of my work, say when I have 700RWHP! It's ok to dream you know...
