Default Tell me it's not the fuel pump...

My 1988 Scottsdale 2500 decided not to start the other day at the gas station, right after I dropped $60 in the tank. I changed the battery and the starter and now it's turning over but it still won't crank up. It's always been kinda hesitant to crank up when left over night, could the fuel pump have gone bad? Tell me it ain't so!

My exbosses 01 did the same thing, he just needed a new filter and it was good to go.

Completely different systems. Check the basics first, fuel to the TB, spark to the cylinders. Not starting if left overnight, check for a leaking gasket or hose in the fuel system.

if it was on empty before you filled it, its probly the fuel pump because it was heated up from no fuel and when you filled it you cold schocked and probly cracked it
