thinking about a cam upgrade and id love your opinion

I drive an 01 silverado 4.8 and am Looking around and talking to people already. So far I am leaning towards a GM hot cam. Anything I need to know before i purchase aftermarket cams? Anyone like or dislike this cam on their truck? Are there any extra parts that need to be purchased with the cam?

I think the GM hotcam kit is a really good upgrade for these motors. With a matching high stall converter, she will run strong! Check this guy out...
