I have the Trans Dapt-Torque Curve on my Sierra and I love it. Best bang for buck ever as far as I'm concerned. Mostly noticed power gain in the mid range which is where I wanted it. Only $62 to my front door from summit racing.

Well, you probably see more gains outa the V8's than with the V6's.(don't mean to offend you)

Smooth: Gain would be around 2,000 rpm to 5,200 and give you more top end hp and torque over the range.
Torque Curve: Gain would be around 1,000 to 4,000 more torque over the range, with more torque down low than smooth bore. Not as much top end hp as smooth bore.

They are both relatively the same, its just looking at where you need the power. Down low or up high. (Smooth = high, curve = low)

Note: when I say more hp its around 5 or so, torque around 10ft/lbs or so tops. (Educated guess). One might have more hp than the other, and one may have more torque than the other but its hard to say.

If they both produced the same gain this is what the powerband would look like:

I have the Transdapt as well, but the smooth bore. I am impressed with the milage and and power increase. If I ws to order again though, I think I would get the torque curve. One of the best mods per dollor I have done though.
