Timing

1990 C1500 350, waht is the timing suppossed to be set at? I can not make it out on my engine tag under the hood, it looks like 10 degrees.

8-10 degrees BTDC is standard on all the small blocks and it is a good starting point...then you can "tune" to your liking from there.
