Tire Questions

Hey fellas got a quick questions - sorry if its been answered before

I have a 2006 Sierra 1500 2wd Reg Cab

Wondering if I could fit 285/70/17 tires on it without making any modifications

the tires and wheel should fit. it might throw the speed ometer off.
