Default Tire Width

I have an 05 2500HD witha leveling kit. I no I shouldn't go over a 33" tire but what is the widest tire I can go. I now I could fit a 275/60 r20 on 20x8.5 but I would like to go a 20x10 with a 305/50 r20 or 305/55 r20. Has any put these size tires on there truck.

I have 305/40/22's on my truck and I dont' have any rubbing issues. The main thing you need to worry about is getting the proper wheels with correct backspacing and offset.

What backspacing do you have on your truck and what is the best method measuring for correct backspacing? What size is your truck? What size rim do you have width wise? I am trying to get a general idea what would be the best size for my truck. Thanks for your help.
