Which tires to buy?

Which tires to buy?
I want to thank those who provided their opinions on going to a bigger tire. Now for my second question...
I live in Pennsylvania and we get our fair share of snow. I am trying to decide which brand of tire to put on my Silverado. The Bridgestone Dueler A/T Revo is nice although a bit pricey as is the BFG All-Terrain TA KO.
This is the first time I had to buy tires for a truck and I had a bit of sticker shock. I would like to get the best all-terrain tire that handles well in snow without spending a small fortune. I'm not sure if that is even possible. Any suggestions?

As with most things, you get what you pay for ...
That being said, take a look at Pro-Comp tires ....I know quite a few people who have them ...everything from their AT's to their mudders ...and they seem to be happy with them.
Eastern or Western PA?

I have the Kuhmo AT and they do well on the road, same as any other AT off road, last forever, and are very inexpensive. If money is a concern, then I recommend them. If not then BFG mud terrain are great as well. I like them better better than the procomp and the always beat out the procomp in testing.

i used to recommend bfg all terrains to everybody and their mother, but later into their life cycle, im not impressed at all with the tread wear... i think im a little hard on them though, considering two are significantly balder than the others from trying to pull a buddy out of a mudhole in two wheel drive from rocks (i thought i had blown something up it was smoking so bad)

RE: Which tires to buy?
My last Dodge truck, i put 265 x 75 x 16's,Yokohama Geolander HT/S, and they were right around $120.00 Ea, mounted and balanced. They were an excellent tire all around. Granted i only put 13,000 miles on them then traded the truck but were an excellent tire for the price, and they are a truck / Suv tire, not a car tire. They are made for heavier loads. Thats my .02 worth

RE: Which tires to buy?
I've had a few pairs of BFG A/Ts and don't have to many complaints except for they seem to pick up quit a few rocks and tire life was shorter thanI expected but in their defense I wasn't easy on them driving a stacked Duramax. I would consider BFGs again but I am going to look at other brands first when it comes time for me to buy tires.
