I have a 2008 Gmc Sierra 1500 WT with a 4.8. It runs great but I was told the tire tpm light will require the replacement of the ECM . I have found some and want to ask what or who is the best to buy from ? I see also they require the vin number to be programmed? Just looking to see if this is common and really any help.I also wonder if it’s worth it? Can it be programmed to not come on?( light warning)which effects the dash showing odometer. The mechanic working on it had ngreat reviews. Thoughts?
