Default Torsion Key Lift

Ok I was talking to a guy about doing my torsion lift for me and he said not to waste my money because I would be blowing through ball joints like crazy due to the extra load and angle that puts on them. Has anyone heard this before? Is it true?

Ya if you put the keys in then it ll put more stress on all your joints, and lessen the travel of your suspension so it will be a harsh ride unless you get new shocks that are longer to make up for more travel.

What it does is pushes it all the way up so that you have no upward travel. The only thing I know of to get you ground clearance that wont cost a million dollars is a body lift then new tires and rims... but still a lot of money.
