yes haynes is inferior in comparison to a chilton. altho ive found the manuals given to techs are better then chiltons, they are a cheaper solution than gm service manuals. ill check our chiltons here to, to see if theres an 03 and up book here or not.

As stated,I don't know much about aftermarket manuals...but I"ve always heard chilton was pretty sucky...Mitchell was good..

what do you guys use mostly?

Well I have Hayes, but I like Chilton better. I don't even know where the hell to get a Mitchell. I know a straight up GM manual would be great. Where do I get one? (Internet?)

a gm dealer will sell you one..to the tune of about 200 bucks..

but..its massive and well worth it if you need detailed wiring information..things like body control comminications,etc.

Well i bought a chiltons manuals today when i was at the parts store. $20 i did not think that was to bad.

those gm service manuals run ya anywhere from 20-50 off ebay some are on cd roms too.

CD rom would be nice cause you could just print out what you needed for each job.
