Towing

Can I tow a 1500 extend cab with a tow bar from FL. to TN. with a 1500 extend cab 4x4 safely ?

I'd say get a 2500 to tow a 1500 just because the trans on a 1500 doesn't come with proper cooling capabilities to tow something so heavy.
