I have an 02 chevrolet 2500 HD with an Automatic transmission and 4wd. I have recently purchased a new shift **** that I want to put on my transfer case shifter and I can't figure out how to get the old one off. Can someone please help? Anyone ever done this before.

 

If you post the type of transmission you have I may be able to help.

A friend and I figured it out. We just had to lift and twist the **** back and forth to get it off. Their were no threads, clips, or screws of any kind. It is just a real tight fit. Thanks anyway.
