does anyone know what trans comes in an 08 sierra denali. its a 6 speed, but thats about all i know about it

 

6L80E I believe?

 

6l65e I think. Dose it have all whell drive?

 

I'm almost positive its a 6L80E...

I don't think a 6L65E exists in a GM truck.

 

The 65E came in some of the Denali's with the all wheel drive and rear steering.

Those are the best GM transmissions in my opinion (second only to Alison). I heard all the Silverados, Seirras, ect where supposed to get that trans in 09. I hope they do. And I hope they shed some of the TQM too while they are at it.

If they mated that 6 speed to the 4.8 deisel they are supposedly coming out with, I would buy one.
