Default Transmission ID?

Hey, is there a for sure way to find out exactly what kind of transmission I have? And whether or not it's electric or not? The pwners manual does not mention it.

I have a (for some reason I thought it was 1991 for the longest time)
1992 C1500 305CID 5.0L V8 Automatic (it feels like 4 speed)

I found a # on the transmission casing #8676358
Truck Vin# 1GCEC14H1NE _ _ _ _ _ _

Doing research it looks like it might be either a 4L80 or 4L60 ... the case is pretty square with no weird angles.

Take the vin to a dealership, they should be able to pull it up. Also check the glovebox, the sticker telling everything about the truck may still be in there.
