So I'm trying to figure out how to get my truck back up and running. First off the truck would act like it would try to die every once in a while and kick back up. The other day I was driving it backfired axted like it was going to die then it kicked back up but every time I pushed on the gas a little too much it would try to die. Then I was turning right it back fired then it died and now it womt start. It trys to but won't. What could be the problem? I read on another forum something similar to mine. He put I'm a ignition module and it started right up. Should I do that? Any suggestions and advice will help. I'm Young and don't have too much knowledge.

 

What's the year/make/model of the truck? Sounds like a fuel issue to me, like perhaps your fuel pressure is dropping low intermittently.

 

I had a mechanic come over all it was, was my ignition coil
