Truck Shifts late
I have a 1993 Chevy Silverado 2500 4x4 that the motor went bad in... It sat all winter outside with the motor pulled out... When it warmed up I put the new motor in it... When I first drove it after having it hooked up I put, it didn't shift until way late... Its getting a little better but I've driven it about 100 miles and its not right... The fluid was low but I put a bottle of Lucas in it and enough trans fluid to make it right but it still aint right... It shifts at about 4000 rpms at a medium acceleration... Help me out...

Did the trans act up before it sat all winter?
Change all the transmission fluid and put in a new filter. It just might be possible that you got some mositure in the tranny, and trannys hate water.
Double check all you connections and vacume hoses, if you find a bad on junk it hoses are cheap.
good luck
