Default Truck won't start - STUMPED! (91 3500 w/ 454)

So, I've got a problem that has me totally stumped. My 1991 C3500 (454/automatic) died one night while towing. Completely quit while in motion. When I tried to restart, nothing happened - engine won't turn AT ALL. Headlights still work, but nothing that requires key-on power works (turn signal, hazards, starter, blower).

I already replaced the ignition selector switch to see if that was the culprit. No change. The fuses all looked OK both times I went through the fuse box under the dash.

Any suggestions? I've been poking at this for a month, and I'd REALLY like my truck to work.

Have you checked the battery cables? The pos. cable may have shorted against the exhaust. Just a thought.
