I would not pay $14,000 for a truck with 128,000 miles on it. My wife and i bought her '02 Avalanche a couple years ago with approx 81,000 miles, and we payed $14,000 for that. And i agree, the chrome stuff has to come off, it does the truck no justice. Just my .02 worth tho, thanx, Jim

 

I would say 6 to 7 grand also. I payed 10,000 for a 2000 chevy ext cab 2 and a half years ago and it only hade 82,000 miles on it.

 

I would say 11,000 or 12,000 tops in PA and that would be in mint condition. The economy right now is not in favor of trucks. Most KBB prices have dropped a few thousand over the past year.

 

Mine is a 2000 silverado with all the same options and a few less aftermarket parts and I bought it 8 months ago with 98,000 miles on it for 9,000.00. Everything is in good shape and works great so I wouldnt pay that much for that truck. It doesnt seem like it could be worth that much!

 

I emailed the man back about the truck saying that its not worth $14,000, but its worth $9,500. and i'll give you how much its worth. And i also asked for the VIN, to do a check on it.

Well, I guess I'm not buying that truck. I told him that it was worth $9,500.00 and I would give him what it's worth, and he asked me if that was a joke. And said that the lots are selling way over that. And i know that, because lots overprice. And i also asked for the VIN # and he denied me.

I do not want to deal with someone like that.

Yeah you did the best thing its only worth about $9.000

 

My buddy recently bought a 2002 with 56,000 miles in great condition for $11,000. It's an extended cab, not 4 door. Remember the truck is almost 7 years old.
