Are you refering ot the tire hanger cable?

 

cable or the whole assembly

 

Have you checked the salvage yards yet? That is a rare request.... By the way what happened to your's? Good luck.

 

Not yet we have some around here but not many. We couldnt get the connector to connect and turn the cable to release the tire. So we cut the cable so I would know I would be able to change a tire if needed.

 

Yeah<i got one..its kinda busy though...ya try a dealer?

 

Brother works for Chevy Dealer said it was high. I called the local junkyard today it took them a while but they found one. I picked it up for $35 an installed it when i got home in under 10 minutes the tire was back in place. Reason we couldnt get the tire down before was because I used the wrong end to lower the tire. I found that out with the one i bought.
